SLC – Reshaping the Learning Environment

SLC, established in 2015,  is private learning centre offering a daily extensive tutoring support system to parents who choose to home school their children, from Grade 1 to 12. Tutoring support takes place in a focussed environment, Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm, following the CAPS  curriculum supplied by Optimi (Impaq), one of the biggest role players in the field of education in South Africa.

The outcome is the Umalusi NSC certificate.

SLC is also a Cambrilearn partner offering IGCSE – AS  level support.

SLC Learning Centre at 25 Bright Street, Somerset West, offers a personalized, flexible and stimulating learning environment with fully qualified educators, creating an opportunity for learners to not only maximize their academic potential, but also grow to be contented and  responsible members of society with confidence in themselves.

We focus on minimizing negative factors leading to unnecessary added pressure causing anxiety or emotional turmoil.

Our system enables our educators to be very flexible and allows them to change their approach as needed, making decisions throughout the day as situations change.

We accommodate a maximum of 65  learners and our 9 staff members are experts in different subject fields.
